POP WATTLE EXTRACT SOLID

POP WATTLE EXTRACT SOLID is a natural pop wattle extract solid, of uniform quality for general usage. It is excellent for, pit tannage, pit-drum or drum tannage and also for the retannage of chrome leather.

PROPERTIES :

POP WATTLE EXTRACT SOLID is soluble in tap and hot water. It has the following characteristics for vegetable tannage :

• Efficient penetration.
• Good fixation.
• Excellent yield.

For retannage of chrome leather, the use of POP WATTLE EXTRACT SOLID permits :

• Bellies and flanks filling.
• Better buffing properties.
• To keep printing effect.
• Excellent polish effect.

APPLICATION :

POP WATTLE EXTRACT SOLID may be used alone or blended with other vegetable extracts. The following use is recommended :

• Based on limed weight
• 30-35% for vachetta tannage (veg leather)
• 45-55% for sole tannage.
• Based on shaved weight
• 5-15% for chrome leather retannage.

RECOMMENDATION :

During the leather production, there may be a risk of iron contamination. In order to prevent this, we suggest to use an iron-sequestering agent (0.2% on the reference weight), which may be added together with the first addition of tanning agents on the tanning or retanning processes.

STORAGE :

POP WATTLE EXTRACT SOLID maintains its characteristics unchanged if properly stored in dry premises protected from sunlight in closed bags.

PACKING :

POP WATTLE EXTRACT SOLID is presented in a powder form, dedusted, and packed in a 25Kg. bag net weight.
